WWE is still planning to move forward with WrestleMania match

Following reports on Monday, there is a lot of concern that Bray Wyatt may miss out on wrestling at WWE WrestleMania Goes Hollywood.

After Wyatt missed a house show at Madison Square Garden on Sunday where he was slated to wrestle LA Knight, it was reported by Fightful that Wyatt is sidelined with a “physical issue.”

As WrestlingNews.co previously reported on our Patreon account, which you can subscribed to for $5, Wyatt has been wearing a knee brace in recent months. However, we have not gotten confirmation that this is the reason why he did not show up for the recent house show.

WWE has been planning to do a match between Wyatt and Bobby Lashley at Mania. After reports regarding Wyatt’s status being up in the air and an interesting tweet by Lashley where he noted that he will fight anyone at WrestleMania, there had been speculation the match may be off the show.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that as of right now, the match is still on and Wyatt is expected to be back very soon.

“From what I understand, the match is still on for WrestleMania, and he should be back very soon. So, we’ll see. That’s pretty much all I can say. There is something to it, but I’m not at liberty to discuss it. As far as I know, everything I’ve been told is that it’s not a creative issue or anything like that,” Meltzer stated.
