WWE Is Still Waiting to Properly Diagnose Bayley’s Injury

Bayley went down with an injury on Sunday night while working a WWE live event in Salisbury, MD, in a 4-way match with Charlotte Flair, Women’s World Champion Asuka, and Bianca Belair.

The injury happened when Asuka fell down, and it looked like Bayley stopped to prevent running over her and fell down. It was a non-contact injury. Bayley was holding her knee when the referee threw up “X” to signal to the back that she was hurt, and the match was cut short with them going straight to the finish.

While doing a Q&A, Mike Johnson of Pwinsider noted that WWE is waiting for medical tests before deciding on a course of action regarding the injury.

Johnson wrote, “I was told that they were waiting to get some medical tests back so they could properly diagnose and decide on a course of action. I would hope the fact she walked out of the arena that night under her own power, even limping, is a good sign.”

We wish her a speedy recovery and hope the injury isn’t serious.
