WWE King and Queen of the Ring PLE will take place in Saudi Arabia

A few months ago, there was talk about a WWE King of the Ring and Queens Crown pay-per-view taking place in 2023.

PWInsider is reporting that the plan is for the show to take place on May 27 in Saudi Arabia. This is part of WWE’s long-term relationship with the Saudi government and that includes two events per year.

PWInsider noted that the current plan is for the event to take place in Riyadh but those plans can still change.

The Saudi Arabian government is said to be one of the potential buyers for WWE. If a sale goes through within the next couple of months, it’s possible that we’ll have new owners by the time the King and Queen of the Ring show rolls around.
