This is the season premier of Monday Night RAW. In the ring, Sami Zayn said I’m sad my tag team partner, Kevin Owens, is on SmackDown, but he knows he’s going to do great things over there. I’m excited because I can stand on my own two feet and show the world that I’m a World Heavyweight Champion-level Superstar. Judgment Day came out. Rhea Ripley told Sami Zayn we want to get rid of you permanently. Jey Uso came out with two chairs and handed one to Zayn which caused Judgment Day to leave the ring.
In a pre-taped interview, Shinsuke Nakamura said he will defeat Ricochet in the Last Man Standing Match tonight.
Backstage, Zayn told Jey that I want us to be good and I’m happy for you. I appreciate you having my back out there, but you came out there and handed me that chair and all I was thinking is it shouldn’t be you that has my back out there. It should be Kevin, but he’s not here anymore and that’s because of you. You have Cody Rhodes and the tag team championship and that’s great, but I don’t have any of that and that’s because of you. Jey said you still got me, but it is what it is. Zayn told Jey to forget what I said. It’s been a tough week for me. You deserve everything you have and I’m sorry. Jey hugged Zayn and they said they are good.
Falls Count Anywhere Match:
Shinsuke Nakamura vs Ricochet
Nakamura and Ricochet were fighting on the turnbuckle. Nakamura kicked Ricochet which sent him through a table on the outside of the ring. Nakamura hit Ricochet with the Kinshasa and pinned him on the floor.

Piper Niven (w/ Chelsea Green) vs Natalya
Natalya was trying to put Niven in the sharpshooter. Green got on the ring apron. Niven kicked Natalya sending her into Green. Piper grabbed Natalya by the hair and threw her to the ground. Niven gave Natalya a cross body and pinned her. Piper and Green attacked Natalya after the match. Tegan Nox came down and threw Green out of the ring. Nox and Natalya double-teamed Niven before she escaped.

Backstage, Damian Priest told Finn Balor and Dominik Mysterio they need to take out Drew McIntyre. Dominik said that Mami said no one messes with Drew. Rhea Ripley came in and asked where has she been. Ripley said she handled Drew. Dominik asked Rhea if she needs him in her corner for her match with Shayna Baszler and she said she’s got this.
In the ring, Seth Rollins asked Drew McIntyre to come to the ring. Rollins showed footage from last week’s show of McIntyre talking to Rhea Ripley. McIntyre said she came to him. What they talked about is none of his business. Rollins accused him of enlisting the help from Judgment Day and that’s a slippery slope he doesn’t want to go down.
They showed footage of Logan Paul calling out Rey Mysterio after his fight with Dillon Danis.
Intercontinental Championship Match
Johnny Gargano vs Ludwig Kaiser (w/ Giovanni Vinci)
Gargano gave Kaiser a DDT, but Vinci poked Gargano’s eyes to break up the pin attempt. Gargano attacked Vinci outside the ring. Gargano followed him in the ring but was met by a kick from Kaiser. Kaiser gave Gargano a DDT and pinned him.
===Winner: Ludwig Kaiser
Backstage, Indi Hartwell asked Becky Lynch when she is going to get her shot at the NXT Championship. Lynch said I’m going to go to Adam Pearce and make it official. Becky turned the corner and Ripley was standing there smiling at her.
Backstage, Drew McIntyre told Sami Zayn he respects his decision for stepping between him and Jey Uso and defusing that situation. Drew questioned Zayn why he gave instant forgiveness to Jey Uso as soon as he came to RAW. Zayn said I agree with Seth in that you need to put The Bloodline issues behind you. Jey’s done everything he can to make everybody believe him and right now, you’re the only one who doesn’t buy it. Zayn said I can relate to you with The Bloodline. McIntyre said you can’t relate because you’ve never been World Champion and trusting everybody the way you do, you will never be World Champion. Zayn said if you want to see what level I’m on, you can find out in the middle of the ring next week. McIntyre said I’ve never backed down from a fight so I will see you next week.
Rhea Ripley vs Shayna Baszler
Nia Jax came down to the ring and got up on the ring apron, but Raquel Rodriguez pulled her off before she could get in the ring. Jax headbutted Rodriguez. Jax turned around and Zoey Stark dove on her. Rodriguez pulled Stark off Jax and threw her into the ringside barrier and then threw her in the ring. Jax and Rodriguez continued to fight outside the ring. Stark kicked Ripley for the DQ. Ripley threw Stark on Baszler and challenged Jax to get in the ring. Jax charged at Ripley. Ripley moved out of the way and Jax got superkicked by Stark. Ripley headbutted Jax and Starks superkicked her. Ripley went to pick Jax up, but Stark superkicked Jax onto Ripley. Stark kicked Jax out of the ring to end the segment.
Backstage, Adam Pearce told Becky Lynch that as long as it’s okay with Shawn Michaels, then next week it will be Lynch against Indi Hartwell. Xia Li asked Lynch when she is going to get a shot. Becky said I already have two contenders, but if you want to be a third, just say the word. Li said yes, but on her time. Jade Cargill came in. Lynch told her to get in line and left. Pearce told Cargill to maybe get some red colors instead of blue.
Backstage, Jey Uso said he will always have Sami Zayn’s back. Cody said Judgment Day are the perfect challengers and he will be successful with Jey in defending the titles tonight.
Intercontinental Championship Match
Gunther (Champion) vs Bronson Reed
Reed gave Gunther a superplex for a two-count. Reed missed a Tsunami. Reed dropkicked Reed and clotheslined him. Gunther gave Reed a splash off the top rope for a two-count. Gunther gave Reed a powerbomb and pinned him.
===Winner: Gunther
Backstage, The Miz said he should have been the one to kick off the season premier of Monday Night RAW. Nia Jax grabbed the microphone. She said everybody has hit me with their best shot, but I’m still standing. I haven’t hit anybody with my best shot and when I do, they stay down. On Monday Night RAW, I do the squashing.
Backstage, Rhea Ripley told Adam Pearce that no one should be interrupting my matches. Either you get this division in order, or I will. Pearce said if you want to make a statement, you will defend your title at Crown Jewel against Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Raquel Rodriguez in a Fatal-5 Way Match. Ripley said she will eradicate them all and walked away. Jinder Mahal and Indus Sher came in and told Pearce if he wants to talk, let’s talk.
Backstage, Alpha Academy were doing Pilates. New Day came in. They argued who has the best hip movement. Chad Gable said next week they will face each other on RAW.
Backstage, Gunther told Ludwig Kaiser he fulfilled his responsibility by defeating Johnny Gargano. He told Vinci that he didn’t. Vinci said I helped him win the match. Gunther told Kaiser that I saw Gargano walking around backstage. After Vinci’s match next week, I expect Gargano to be stretchered out of the building and it’s your responsibility.
Undisputed WWE Tag Team Title Match
Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso (Champions) vs The Judgment Day (Damian Priest & Finn Balor)
Dominik Mysterio came to ringside and interfered several times in the match. Sami Zayn came down and beat up Dominik until Priest threw him into the ring post. Priest gave Cody a low blow and gave him the Razor’s Edge on the announce desk. Balor missed the Coup De Grace on Jey. Jey hit Balor with a spear. Jimmy hit Priest with a spear. Jimmy Uso appeared and superkicked Jey. Balor gave Jey the Coup De Grace and pinned him.
