Ilja Dragunov told Carmelo Hayes to come to the ring. Hayes came out with his security surrounding the ring so Dragunov could not get to him. Hayes said you’re the NXT Champion for now, but I’m the one that makes this brand go since I stepped on the scene. I’m not stepping in the ring with you until I see a contract because losing that NXT Championship to me is your biggest fear and I know you’re not the type to take me out before the match. I’ll give you until the end of the night. Dragunov attacked some of Carmelo’s security to end the segment.
Earlier today, Gigi Dolin asked Ava what is next for her. They went into Ava’s office and Jaida Parker was in there. Jaida asked Ava what is next for her. Gigi told Jaida the line starts behind her. Jaida said that I don’t wait in any line. Ava said what’s next for both of you is each other.
Booker T returned to the commentary table.
Kelani Jordan vs Kiana James (w/Izzi Dame)
James hit Jordan with a spinebuster for a near fall. Jordan caught Jame with an inside cradle for a two-count. Dame tripped Jordan when the referee’s back was turned. James hit Jordan in the Deal Breaker and pinned her.

They showed footage from last Tuesday where Roxanne Perez was complaining about missing her opportunity at getting a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship when Lash Legend stepped in to fight Lyra Valkyria. Jakara Jackson told Perez that’s how a superstar operates. You lost the title. Perez attacked Jackson with the other women in the locker room trying to break them up.
The O.C. (Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows ) vs Edris Enofe & Malik Blade
Enofe clotheslined Anderson, gave him a knee to the face, and a suplex. Anderson gave Enofe a spinebuster and made the tag to Gallows. Anderson and Gallows gave Enofe The Magic Killer and pinned him.

After the match, Andre Chase and Duke Hudson came out and said you interrupted our victory last week, so you are going to find out karma is a bitch. Nathan Frazier and Axiom came out. Frazier told Chase U congratulations on becoming the number one contenders, but when it comes to The O.C., we’re up next. Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro came off the top turnbuckles and dropkicked Gallows and Anderson. Chase U, Frazier and Axiom, and the LWO all attacked Gallows and Anderson. Gallows and Anderson left the ring while Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker looked on from the balcony.
Backstage, Oba Femi entered Ava’s office and told her who will be my next victim. Ilja Dragunov came in and had a stare down with Femi and Femi left. Ilja told Ava that we need to talk.
Roxanne Perez vs Jakara Jackson (w/Lash Legend)
Perez went for the Pop Rocks, but Legend held Jackson’s arm so the move couldn’t be completed. The referee saw this and threw Legend out from ringside. Perez and Jackson exchanged slaps to the face. Perez caught Jackson in the crossface and Jackson submitted.

Thea Hail told Jacy Jayne that Riley Osborne told her the girl on the date wasn’t the girl that he thought I was going to be, so we are better off as friends. Hail said I’m going back to being the old Thea Hail. Jayne said the old Thea Hail is a loser. Hail said that’s what Fallon Henley said I should do. Jayne said Henley is a moron. She begs people to be here friend. You are better off now. Hail asked about Andre Chase and Duke Hudson. Jayne said they are losers. I had to come in and save the university. If it wasn’t for me, there wouldn’t be a university anymore. Kiana James and Izzi Dame came in. They also agreed that Fallon Henley is the last person she should take advice on anything.
Backstage, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows told Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker that if they can get past Chase U, we will be waiting.
Dijak vs Luca Crusifino
Dijak kicked Crusifino with a kick to the face, hit the Feast Your Eyes, and pinned him.

After the match, Joe Gacy came out as he broke free from his straight jacket. With Dijak distracted by Gacy, Crusifino hit Dijak with a tire iron. Gacy and Dijak brawled to the back.
Backstage, Tony D’Angelo and Stacks were looking at the monitor. Tony told Stacks to go get him.
Backstage, Noam Dar said he is not worried about which member of No Quarter Catch Crew that he will be fighting tonight.
In the ring, Lyra Valkyria wished Shotzi a speedy recovery and when you come back, I owe you that title shot. I will give Lash Legend credit for stepping up last week. Tatum held up her end of the bargain last week. Lyra asked Tatum to come out. Tatum told Lyra I would do anything for you. Lyra said I spoke to Ava and next week we will be teaming together. Tatum said I knew you couldn’t separate us and we will be together forever. Lyra said we will be taking on The Kabuki Warriors for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. Ridge Holland came out and said I want to wish you the best of luck next week, but if you’re finished, I would like you to leave as I have something very important to get off my chest. Lyra and Tatum left the ring. Holland said I am here tonight to apologize for my actions. The lights went out. A voice announced on the speaker the words that were on the video walls saying, “Truth will ultimately prevail, but there is pain bringing it to light.” A guy in a hoodie hit Holland from behind with a chair. He took off the hood to reveal Shawn Spears.
Backstage, Brooks Jensen asked Oba Femi if he is still looking for his next challenger. Femi said yes. Jensen said well you found him.
Backstage, Carmelo Hayes said I want Ilja Dragunov out there and I want Ava with a contract signed, sealed, and delivered where all I have to do is come and put my name on it, but tell Ilja no contract, no Melo.
Von Wagner (w/Mr. Stone) vs Lexis King
King and Wagner were brawling outside the ring. King pushed Wagner into Stone who got jacked up against the ringside barrier. They got back in the ring. Stone got on the ring apron upset at King. King went to punch stone off the apron, but Wagner rolled him up for the pin. After the match, King attacked Wagner’s leg. Stone got in the ring to pull King off Wagner, but King gave Stone the Coronation.

A video package of The Kabuki Warriors aired. Backstage, Lyra told Tatum that next week we can bring those tag team titles back to NXT. Tatum said you would be a double champion but don’t worry, I will always look after you as I’m a pretty good partner. Jaida Parker told them The Kabuki Warrior are going to embarrass them. Arianna Grace said we are all champions in our heart and our mind. Parker told Grace I would rather prefer a championship than some dumb crown.
Backstage, Dijak was arguing with Ava when Joe Gacy attacked him.
Gigi Dolin vs Jaida Parker
Arianna Grace came to ringside. As Gigi was beating up Jaida, Arianna got on the ring apron and held back Gigi’s arm and asked her to stop fighting. Gigi headbutted Grace off the ring apron. Jaida hit Gigi from behind and pinned her.

Heritage Cup Match:
Noam Dar (w/Oro Mensah) vs Charlie Dempsey (w/Drew Gulak, Damon Kemp and Myles Borne)
Round 1: Dempsey caught Dar in a backslide and pinned him. Dempsey 1 Dar 0
Round 2: No Fall
Round 3: No Fall
Round 4: Dar hit Dempsey with an enziguri and pinned him. Dar 1 Dempsey 1
Round 5: Borne got on the ring apron, but Mensah pulled him off. Borne threw Mensah into the ring post. Dar fought off Gulak and Kemp on the ring apron. Dempsey gave Dar a full nelson suplex and pinned him to win the Heritage Cup.

As Shawn Spears was leaving the building, he said I like Ridge Holland, but he has been lying to himself for far too long. The pain that’s coursing through his body is the truth. That’s why I struck Ridge. The truth can bring you to your knees. That’s why Shawn Spears is now in NXT. I will see you next week at Roadblock.
Carmelo Hayes came to the ring where Ilja Dragunov and Ava were at the contract signing table. Hayes had his security team on the ring apron. Tony D’Angelo came to the ring. Tony told Hayes you don’t have to beat him to make things move around here. There’s only one Don. Tony snapped his finger and Hayes’ security left. Tony sat at the table and said the NXT Championship has been dominated by this Hayes-Dragunov saga and there’s only one person who can flip this on its head and that’s the Don of NXT. He told Ilja that I’m the one that wants to take the title from you, not Carmelo Hayes. I’m going to earn a title match at Stand and Deliver. Next week at NXT Roadblock, it’s going to be Carmelo Hayes vs Tony D’Angelo and the winner gets a NXT Title Match at Stand and Deliver. Ava said I talked with Tony earlier and if that’s okay with Ilja, then that is what will take place. Ilja agreed and shook Tony’s hand. Carmelo told Tony if we need somebody to take out some trash, you’re the guy for that, but when it comes to NXT, I am the Don. Tony got in Hayes’ face. Hayes pushed Tony into Ilja and slammed Tony through the table. Hayes signed the contract, threw it on Tony, and threw the NXT title on the fallen Dragunov.
