Jailhouse Street Fight
Tony D’Angelo (with Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo) vs Dijak
D’Angelo threw Dijak in the prison cage, but Dijak managed to grab Stacks as he was being thrown in. Dijak had a forearm choke on Stacks and threatened to choke him out if D’Angelo shut the cell door. D’Angelo hesitated and Dijak kicked the cage door into D’Angelo and kicked Stacks over the guard rail. Dijak gave D’Angelo a low blow and a Go To Sleep and threw him in the cell. As he was going to close the cell door, Stacks threw himself between the door to prevent it from being closed. Dijak then gave Stacks a Go To Sleep. D’Angelo then hit Dijak with a crowbar over the head and put him in the cell and closed the door to win the match.
Winner: Tony D’Angelo
Backstage, Roxanne Perez said she is feeling anxious going into her match. She has worked out harder than ever for her match with Meiko Satomura as this is her biggest title defense.
Josh Briggs told Kiana James that Brooks Jensen hasn’t been the same since Valentine’s Day. Briggs saw the flowers on her desk and assumed Jensen sent them to her. James took the card from him and buried it in her planner. James said she and Jensen have been off for a little while. Briggs told her that Jensen is afraid of making a mistake, so she will have to make the first move. James said he will call Jenson for a makeup date.
In the ring, Gallus challenged Pretty Deadly to come to the ring. Deadly appeared on the top of the stands. Gallus wanted them to get in the ring. Deadly said they wanted their tag team titles back. Gallus laid them in the ring and said to come get them. Deadly came to the ring and were quickly taken out by Gallus.
Lyra Valkyria said she came to get the NXT Women’s Championship and she is challenging the winner of the Roxanne Perez-Meiko Satomura match
Ilja Dragunov said JD McDonagh will never break his soul
Dragon Lee was shown in the crowd
The Creed Brothers (Brutus & Julius) (with Ivy Niles) & Bron Breakker vs Indus Sher (Veer Mahaan & Sanga) & Jinder Mahal
All six competitors were fighting in the ring. Breaker gave Mahal a spear and then hit a spear on Mahaan. Sanga hit Breakker with a kick. Julius lifted Mahaan on his shoulders and Brutus came off the top rope with the Brutus Ball and pinned him.
Winners: The Creed Brothers and Bron Breakker
The Grayson Waller Effect: Shawn Michaels
Shawn Michaels said Grayson Waller and him were ok with each other, but now Waller hates him. Waller said that he is the number one star in NXT and he Michaels is holding him back because he doesn’t kiss his ass. Michaels told Waller that he isn’t the guy because he lost at Vengeance Day. Waller said Michaels only got this job because Hunter had a heart attack. Michaels said that it’s true he helped his friend out, but Waller needs to realize that he’s running this ship now and that NXT was always about the brand, not one star. Waller said he is sick of NXT. Michaels said he can run him down, but don’t run NXT into the ground. Waller said if it pisses him off, then do something about it. Waller challenged Michaels to a match at Stand and Delivery. Michaels said people have been trying to get him to do dream matches for years. Nothing would give him more joy than to whip his ass at Stand and Deliver, but the reality is he knows someone who would want to do that more than him. Michaels said Waller’s opponent at Stand and Deliver is going to be Johnny Gargano. Gargano stormed the ring and punched Waller sending him out of the ring.
Gigi Dolin vs Jacy Jayne
Dolin gave Jayne two spinning leg kicks. Jayne gave Dolin a neckbreaker and a senton for a near fall. Dolin then rolled up Jayne for the pin. After the match, Jayne attacked Dolin. She tried to attack Dolin with a chair before the officials broke it up
Winner: Gigi Dolin
Backstage, Fallon Henley apologized to Brooks Jensen. Josh Briggs then told Jensen he just talked to Kiana James and saw the nice roses Jensen left on her desk. Jensen said he doesn’t care what’s on her desk and wondered what she said. Brooks said James will be calling him. Jensen then got the call and walked off to continue the phone call. Henley told Briggs obviously based on his reaction, it wasn’t Jensen that sent the roses. Briggs told Henley she was right and asked what they could do. Henley said she thinks she has an idea.
In the ring, Bron Breakker challenged Carmelo Hayes to a match at Stand and Deliver. Hayes came out and accepted. They shook hands afterwards.
Backstage, Tyler Bate was doing mediation work with Thea Hail. Bate told her nobody is beyond fear and we have to move beyond our fear. Bate wished Andre Chase good luck in his match and Chase and Hail left. Duke Hudson told Bate he can’t believe anybody would buy that snake oil he’s selling.
Andre Chase (with Duke Hudson & Thea Hail) vs Joe Gacy (with Zack Gibson, James Drake, and Ava)
Chase gave Gacy a powerbomb off the ropes for a near fall. Thea Hail used her breathing techniques she learned from Tyler Bate and ran up to Ava to confront her and told her she is not afraid of her. Gacy then gave Chase a clothesline for the win.
Winner: Joe Gacy
Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre performed a full moon ritual and said next week, they will march forward in claiming their lot.
Backstage, Thea Hail told Andre Chase that she was proud of herself for standing up to her fear of Ava. Duke Hudson pointed out to Andre Chase that he lost again. Hudson said they are an institution of losers and the University is a joke.
Backstage, Wes Lee said his North American Challenge has been going well. Axiom said he will accept his challenge next week. Lee said if Axiom makes it to the ring first, he will defend it against him.
NXT Women’s Championship: Roxanne Perez vs Meiko Satomura
Perez and Satomura shook hands to start the match. Perez and Satomura were fighting on the ring apron. Satomura had Perez on her shoulder, but Perez slid off and pushed Satomura into the ring post. Satomura gave Perez a Rocker Dropper on the floor. Satomura got Perez back in the ring and went for the pin, but Perez got her leg on the ropes. Satomura went for a kick, but Perez rolled her up for the pin. Satomura handed Perez her belt after the match and raised her hand. Perez collapsed afterwards and the medical team came racing down to check on her. They put a neckbrace on her, put her on a stretcher, and put her in an ambulance.
Winner: Roxanne Perez
