NXT Women’s Championship Semi-Final Match:
Cora Jade vs Lyra Valkyria

Valkyria gave Jade a Northern Lights Suplex. Jade gave Valkyria a knee strike. Valkyria hit an overhead suplex on Jade, hit a roundhouse kick, and pinned her to advance in the tournament.
===Winner: Lyra Valkyria

After the match, Jade clipped Valkyria’s leg and hit her knee with a kendo stick.

Backstage, Ilja Dragunov attacked Dijak with a chair as he arrived in the building. 

Axiom vs Dabba-Kato

Axiom chopped down Dabba-Kato’s to his knees, but Kato gave him a big lariat, a choke powerbomb and pinned him.
Winner: Dabba-Kato

After the match, Kato continued to pound away at Axiom when SCRYPTS dove in the ring for the save. SCRYPTS tried to shake Axiom’s hand, but Axiom wouldn’t do it.

Backstage, Tony D’Angelo was shown in an interrogation room. The officer questioned Tony as to why is name keeps coming up in ongoing investigations. Tony said he doesn’t know and his nose is clean. The investigator said they received some tips. Tony asked if he could go if he would give him a tip. The investigator played Tony a video and asked if it was him on screen. Tony said no. Another investigator came in and told the first one that they received some new information on Tony that he would want to see. 

Bron Breakker said he is coming to Battleground to beat up Carmelo Hayes in front of his family and friends and to dish out a massacre. 

IN the ring, Gallus said they thought they would be fighting Tony D’Angelo and Stacks at Battleground, but Tony is detained. As they made fun of the situation, the Creed Brothers came out and challenged them for the NXT Tag Team Championship at Battleground. Gallus attacked the Creeds until Stacks came in to help the Creeds run off Gallus.

In the back, Wes Lee told Tyler Bate there’s no need to be his friend now to get a shot at his North American Championship. He’s going to pay close attention to him tonight, especially after he now knows what he wants. 

Eddy Thorpe vs Tyler Bate

Bate gave Thorpe a clothesline, the Tyler Driver ’97, and pinned him.
===Winner: Tyler Bate

After the match, Joe Gacy attacked Bate. Wes Lee came in to punch Gacy, but Gacy ducked and the punch landed on Bate. Gacy clotheslined both of them and held up the North American belt. 

Backstage, Lyra Valkyria was given a bag of ice for her knee by the trainer. Valkyria said her knee is bruised and swollen and has to wait for that to go down to get a good look, but she doesn’t feel any tears or ligament damage and she will be fine. She will rehab all week and she will be at Battleground. When asked who she would like to face in the finals of the NXT Women’s Championship, she said Roxanne Perez because she is the best in NXT.

Noam Dar vs Nathan Frazer

Dragon Lee came to ringside and was checking out Dar’s Heritage Cup.  Dar got out of the ring and shoved Lee. Frazer dove through the ropes on Dar and threw him back in the ring. Frazer hit a Phoenix Splash on Dar and pinned him.
===Winner: Nathan Frazer

Backstage, Dijak attacked Ilja Dragunov in the dressing room and the wrestlers in the locker room separated them.

Hank Walker vs Tex Ledger

Walker and Ledger crossed the ring and collided with each other and Walker covered Ledger for the pin. 
Winner: Hank Walker

After the match, Bron Breakker came in and speared both guys. 

Backstage, Stacks told The Creeds that with Tony D’Angelo being detained, maybe they can work out a deal for him to have their backs. The Creeds said no because they’ve been burned trusting people before and said they can have the first shot at their titles. 

In the ring, Gigi Dolin asked Jacy Jayne why she threw their friendship away. Jayne said she got tired of her and realized she was destined for bigger things on her own and refused to let her drag her down. Gigi challenged Jacy to a match right now. Jacy said she will face her next week in a steel cage match. Gigi said let’s make it a weaponized cage match which Jacy agreed to.

Von Wagner (w/ Mr. Stone) vs Luca Crusifino

Crusifino went outside the ring and took the baby picture of Wagner out of Stone’s pocket. Wagner clotheslined Crusifino outside the ring. Wagner threw him in the ring. He was pounding on Crusifino as Crusifino was trying to escape the ring. Wagner would not stop at the referee’s count of five and got disqualified. 
Winner by DQ: Luca Crusifino

After the match, Wagner was going to powerbomb Crusifino through the announce table, Stone advised him not to, but Wagner did it anyway. 

Back in the interrogation room, the investigators told Tony D’Angelo to stand up as they read him his rights and handcuffed him.

NXT Women’s Championship Semi-Final Match:
Tiffany Stratton vs Roxanne Perez

Perez gave Stratton a Russian leg sweep for a near fall. Stratton blocked the Pop Rocks and hit her with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever and pinned her.
===Winner: Tiffany Stratton

After the match, Stratton and Lyra Valkyria were arguing in front of the NXT Women’s Championship belt when somebody dressed in black attacked Roxanne Perez near the entrance way. 

Dijak was making his way to the ring when Ilja Dragunov attacked him from behind. Dijak and Dragunov signed the contract in the middle of while they were brawling with each other.
