In the ring, Cody Rhodes said at the end of the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament, there will be a NXT Men’s Breakout Tournament and the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic is also coming back. He also said Shawn Michaels has made him the special guest General Manager of NXT for tonight. Ilja Dragunov came out. Ilja said I promise to push this brand to the next level. Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley came out. Dominik challenged Ilja for his NXT Championship tonight. Cody made the match official with the special guest referee being LA Knight.
Asuka vs Roxanne Perez
Perez rolled up Perez for a two-count. She tried for another roll-up, but Perez caught her, gave her a backhanded punch, and a spinning kick. Asuka then kicked Perez in the head and pinned her.
===Winner: Asuka
After the match, Kiana James came in the ring, but before she could get to Perez, Shotzi attacked James and raised Perez’ hand.
In the back, Gallus got hyped up for their match against Tyler Bate and The Brawling Brutes.
In the back, Butch told Tyler Bate he needs the Tyler Bate he battled all over Europe and tore the house down in Chicago. Rich Holland joined them and said it’s fight night.
Pub Rules Match
The Brawling Brutes (Rich Holland & Butch) & Tyler Bate vs Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, & Wolfgang)
Joe Coffey attempted to give Holland a powerbomb through the table, but Butch gave him an enziguri. Joe gave Butch a clothesline and put him on the table. Joe grabbed a glass full of bear, but Bate grabbed hit from him and broke it over Joe’s head. Butch, Bate, and Holland combined to give Joe a triple powerbomb through the table and pin him.

A video package aired of Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria for their upcoming match.
In the back, Tegan Nox told Lyra Valkyria that I was seconds away from beating Becky Lynch, so unfortunately, you’re title match is going to have to wait. Valkyria said I’ve worked my entire career for this opportunity at Halloween Havoc. You couldn’t get the job done last night. Halloween Havoc is going to be the biggest night of my career and I’m not going to let anyone get in my way.
In the ring, John Cena said it’s an honor to be here. Bron Breakker came out. He told Cena you have this crowd fooled into believing Carmelo Hayes has a chance of beating me. Cena said everybody know the business is in your blood, we can see you are athletically gifted, but your glaring weakness is your attitude. You lack respect. I didn’t come out here to run you down. I’m excited for your match tonight and I’m here to respectfully wish you good luck. Cena extended his hand, but Breakker punched him. He tried for the spear, but Cena picked him up for the Attitude Adjustment which Breakker managed to escape.
In the back, Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo shook Cody Rhodes’ hand and said they were glad to see him. They suggested to Cody for NXT to have a 10-Team over the top Battle Royal. When one member of the team is eliminated, the team is eliminated. When it comes down to 2 teams, they have a match and the winner faces Tony and Stacks on Night 1 of Halloween Havoc for the titles. Cody liked the idea and called it the Badda Bing Badda Boom Battle Royal.
In the back, Baron Corbin said Ilja Dragunov is ducking him because outside of Melo surviving, I’m the only man to put Ilja down.
NXT Championship Match: Special Referee LA Knight
Ilja Dragunov (Champion) vs Dominik Mysterio (w/ Rhea Ripley)
Ilja hit the H-Bomb on Dominik. Finn Balor ran down and jumped up on the ring apron, but was met with a punch by Knight. While this was going on, JD McDonagh came in the ring from the other side and charged at Ilja, but Ilja threw him into the corner. Knight turned around and gave JD the Blunt Force Trauma and threw him over the top rope. Ripley tried to hit Ilja with her Women’s Belt, but Ilja ducked. Trick Williams grabbed Rhea off the ring apron. Ilja hit Dominik with the Torpedo Moscow and pinned him.
===Winner: Ilja Dragunov
After the match, Baron Corbin came out, however, Ilja turned around to get hit by Dijak. Dijak got out of the ring, got in Corbin’s face, and said, I beat you to it. He’s mine.
Backstage, Carmelo Hayes told John Cena thank you for coming. I’m sorry Bron disrespected you. Trick Williams showed up, introduced himself to John Cena, and thanked him for coming. Carmelo said with John by my side, I’m taking out Bron tonight and then I’m getting back my NXT Championship and told Williams we’re going to get his North American Championship as well. Williams asked Cena when he knew it was his time. Cena said let’s talk.
An anonymous spy showed Paul Heyman talking to Ava.
Jade Cargill was shown arriving with Shawn Michaels greeting her.
Backstage, Baron Corbin told Cody Rhodes that he wants a match with Ilja Dragunov at Halloween Havoc for the title. Cody said you will get your match if you win next week’s triple threat match with Dijak and the winner of Melo vs Bron.
Backstage, Nathan Frazier told Dominik Mysterio just because he lost doesn’t mean he can treat everybody like dirt.
Quarterfinals Match in the NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament
Lola Vice (w/ Elektra Lopez) vs Dani Palmer
Palmer gave Vice a double knee to her jaw. Palmer went for a backflip, but Vice caught her in a triangle leg choke. Palmer rolled her over for a two-count. Vice hit Palmer with a leg strike to the side of her face and pinned her.
===Winner: Lola Vice
In a pre-taped segment, Thea Hail told Andre Chase that Jacy Jayne advised me to go back to class. I agreed but only if Jacy came to. Jacy showed up and Andre agreed to let them both in. Jayne said Chase and Duke Hudson are part of the Badda Bing Badda Boom Battle Royal.
Backstage, Bron Breakker was working out. Paul Heyman told him I worked with your father and uncle and you have the best both had to offer. I can see the future and the future is Bron Breakker in the main event of WrestleMania and the only thing standing in your way is Carmelo Hayes. Bron said it doesn’t matter who stands in my way. I’m going to break them all, and he left. Heyman picked up his phone and said, call Roman Reigns.
A pre-tape aired of Brian Pillman Jr. He talked about his father and how everybody has fond memories of him. He said I don’t have fond memories as I lost him when I was four years old. You would think a WWE Superstar would be the last thing I would want to do. I tried football and lacrosse. I have a college degree, but this industry has been in my blood since birth and I can’t escape it. I have no choice but to embrace it and to inflict pain on the very business that brought me so much grief. When they see this face, I don’t want them to think about my dead father. I want them to think about me. I’m nobody’s junior and from this day forward, I’m going to take on the last name of the real father figure who raised me and his name was King and now so is mine.
In the back, Kiana James said I guess I will have to deal with Shotzi on my own time. James then thanked Asuka for leaving just enough of Roxanne for her to finish.
Carmelo Hayes (w/ John Cena) vs Bron Breakker (w/ Paul Heyman)
Breakker tried to hit Hayes with the ring stairs, but Cena grabbed the stairs from Breakker. Solo Sikoa attacked Cena. Hayes hit the diving leg drop on Breakker and pinned him.
===Winner: Carmelo Hayes
After the match, Breakker hit a spear on Hayes and said he was the only badass in WWE. The Undertaker came out. Breakker told The Undertaker there is only one badass around here. Undertaker told Breakker that he would be a top talent one day, but not today. Undertaker hit a jab on Breakker and gave him a Chokeslam. Undertaker told Breakker that there would always be an older, bigger, badder, bad ass waiting around the corner and you just met the baddest of them all. Hayes & Undertaker stood together in the ring to end the show.
