NXT Global Heritage Invitational Final:
Butch vs. Joe Coffey (w/ Mark Coffey and Wolfgang)
Mark Coffey and Wolfgang were ejected from ringside when the referee caught them trying to get in the ring. Joe Coffey gave Butch a powerbomb, a shoulder tackle, and a spinning clothesline for a two-count. Joe tossed Butch outside the ring and tried to charge at him, but Butch moved out of the way and Joe crashed into the ring steps. Butch tossed Joe back in the ring, gave him the Bitter End, and pinned him.
===Winner: Butch
Backstage, Dominik Mysterio said now that he’s defeated Dragon Lee, he has a free Saturday to hang out with Mami. Dominik was informed that before the show, Shawn Michaels posted that Dominik will defend the NXT North American Championship at No Mercy against tonight’s winner of a Triple Threat match between Axiom vs Tyler Bate vs Dragon Lee.
In a pre-taped segment, Tony D’Angelo told Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo they are going to bring in the tag teams, feed them, and then determine who they are going to face at No Mercy.
Trick Williams vs. Joe Gacy (with Ava)
Gacy charged into Williams but was met with a kick to his face. They slugged it out with Williams getting the better of him and then landed a leg kick to Gacy. Gacy tried to come off the ropes with a handstand elbow, but Williams caught him with a knee to his chin and pinned him.
===Winner: Trick Williams
After the match, Trick Williams was asked if he thinks that Carmelo Hayes will walk out NXT Champion after his match with Ilja Dragunov at No Mercy. Williams said I just had his best win tonight against Gacy and you want to talk about another man? Williams said Dragunov hits hard and nobody knows that better than me, so I would be a fool to bet against HIM, and by that, I mean Carmelo Hayes. Now that I think about it, Carmelo already has his championship and I think it’s time I go get mine.
In the back, Blair Davenport said Gigi Dolin blindsided me, but I got back up. You can’t match my vindictive nature and you will find that out tonight.
In the back, Andre Chase told Jacy Jayne that I know you and Jacy have become friends, but she is not returning my texts. Thea Hail showed up dressed up like a grown woman. Chase was going to admonish her, but Duke Hudson had a smile on his face and tapped Chase. Chase told Hail that I don’t think you ever looked so nice. Hail said good because I finally feel like a grown-ass woman and I give all the credit to Jacy. Hail said I have to get ready for my match tonight against Dani Palmer and walked away. Jacy said if you like that look so much, wait until you see her new ring gear tonight.
Baron Corbin vs Josh Briggs (w/ Brooks Jensen & Fallon Henley)
Briggs gave Corbin a splash for a two-count. Briggs charged at Corbin in the corner, but Corbin pulled the referee in front of him. Briggs put on the breaks to avoid crashing into the referee, but Corbin caught him with a chop to the throat. Corbin gave Briggs the End of Days and pinned him.
===Winner: Baron Corbin
After the match, Corbin said this Saturday, we’re going to find out if Bron Breakker barks or bites. Breakker came out and attacked Corbin and they had a brawl with security trying to break them up.
Backstage, they showed Trick Williams going into Shawn Michaels’ office.
Winner Gets A Seat At The D’Angelo Dinner:
Hank Walker & Tank Ledger vs. OTM (Lucien Price & Bronco Nima) (w/ SCRYPTS)
Walker gave Nima the Snake Eyes and a high kick to his head. Walker made the tag to Ledger. SCRYPTS got on the ring apron and the referee was distracted trying to pull Walker off him. Price hit Ledger with a kick to the face behind the refs back. Price threw Ledger into Walker. OTM then gave Ledger a forward slam and pinned him.
===Winners: OTM
Gigi Dolin was backstage preparing for her match when the lights went out. We heard the attack, and when the lights came back on, Blair Davenport was standing over a falling Dolin.
Backstage, Tyler Bate and Axiom said they are going to grab this opportunity tonight. Trick Williams came in. He said I just left Shawn Michaels’ office and the Triple Threat Match tonight has become a Fatal 4-Way.
Strap Match:
Dijak vs. Eddy Thorpe
Thorpe was continually whipping Dijak with the strap. Thorpe wrapped the strap around his arm and came off the middle rope with an elbow drop and pinned him. After the match, Dijak hit Thorpe with the Feast Your Eyes. Dijak put Thorpe on the top rope and gave him a kick. Thorpe fell backwards and had his legs caught on the top rope. Dijak took the strap and tied Thorpe’s legs together. Dijak took Thorpe’s leather belt and whipped him with it.
===Winner: Eddie Thorpe
Vic Joseph was in the middle of announcing that due to the attack earlier tonight, Gigi Dolin will be unable to compete. Blair Davenport took the headset off Joseph and said next time Gigi wants to play mind games, it’s going to be far worse.
Thea Hail (w/ Jacy Jayne) vs Dani Palmer
Palmer hit Hail with a dropkick. Palmer charged at Hail, but Hail moved out of the way and Palmer crashed into the turnbuckle. Hail kicked Palmer and gave her a suplex for a two-count. Palmer clotheslined Hail and gave her another dropkick. Palmer missed a twisting splash off the top turnbuckle. Hail caught Palmer in the Kimura Lock and submitted her.

Backstage, Trick Williams told Carmelo Hayes that I showed the whole world that I whipped that Trick. Hayes was distracted reading his phone and told Williams that he can do it. Williams said if I win this match tonight, I go to No Mercy and then face Dominik for the North American Championship. Hayes was still distracted and told him he’s got so much going on with this contract signing and I need to handle that. Williams said you handle that and I got my own business I need to handle.
Backstage, Bron Breakker jumped Baron Corbin and they brawled with officials trying to pull them apart.
Fatal Four Way #1 Contender’s Match for the North American Championship
Dragon Lee vs Trick Williams vs Tyler Bate vs Axiom
Dragon Lee tried to come off the ropes, but Bate kicked him. Bate got on the middle rope followed by Axiom. Axiom kicked Bate off the ropes and Bate landed on the floor. Axiom hit Lee with a Spanish Fly off the top rope for a two-count. Lee drove Axiom to the mat, but Williams pulled Lee off him. Lee and Williams crashed heads into each other. Lee fell through the ropes. Williams fell backwards into the ropes sending Bate to the floor and Williams fell forward and down on Axiom to pin him.
===Winner: Trick Williams
OTM, The Creed Brothers, Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo were at Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo’s table. They all stated why they should get a tag team title match. Tony said he wants to face all of them in a Fatal 4-Way Match at No Mercy.
Backstage, Dominik Mysterio said he’s going to whip that trick and Dragon Lee attacked him from behind.
Backstage, Trick Williams caught up with Carmelo Hayes and Hayes congratulated him and said both of them are going to be victorious at No Mercy.
NXT Championship Contract Signing:
Carmelo Hayes told Ilja Dragunov that after what happened last week, there’s nothing to talk about so let’s just sign this contract and we will see each other at No Mercy. Ilja told Hayes that he’s always the wrong person at the wrong time and I’m fully convinced that you’re the wrong man for the NXT Championship. Hayes told Ilja that I’m not like any of these guys you beat before. I’m not Wes. I’m not Oro. I’m not Trick. He realized what he said and then he told Ilja I will push you to your limits. Ilja signed the contract and gave it to Hayes and said he will defeat him at No Mercy. Hayes signed the contract and told Ilja you can’t do it better than me.
Vic Joseph said he received word from Shawn Michaels that Dragon Lee will be the special guest referee for the NXT North American Championship Match between Dominik Mysterio and Trick Williams.
The show ended with Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker fighting in the parking lot and crashing through a wall into Shawn Michael’s office.
