Welcome to our live coverage of WWE NXT. Announced for tonight’s show, Nikkita Lyons will take on Kayden Carter, Brutus Creed will take on Damon Kemp, Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen will take on Gallus, and Wes Lee will take on Tony D’Angelo in a qualifying match for the North American championship ladder match at Halloween Havoc.
– NXT starts with llja Dragunov, Dragunov says that last time he was in NXT he conqued an unbeatable champion like a gladiator, Dragunov says that pain has always been his best friend, Dragunov says that he will beat Bron Breakker to claim gold, JD McDonagh then interrupts, JD says that Dragunov is a sneaky rat, JD says that Dragunov’s body was so broken after their match that he had to give up the title, JD says that this is his time, JD says that next time he will end Dragunov’s career, Bron Breakker then interrupts, Bron says that his NXT championship isn’t going anywhere, JD then proposes that Bron and Dragunov face off, Bron says that he wants a triple threat match for the NXT championship at Halloween Havoc.
Match 1: Fallon Henley vs Mandy Rose
– The match starts off with both women locking up, Henley then takes down Mandy with a headlock and a shoulder tackle, Mandy then hits a fallaway slam on Henley, Mandy then hits a knee to the face of Henley to secure the pinfall victory.
Winner via pinfall: Mandy Rose at 5:40.
– After the match, Mandy says that she conqued two continents while Alba Fyre was throwing logs in a fire, Alba then lights a fire that says “AND NEW.”
Match 2: Wes Lee vs Tony D’Angelo
– The match starts off with both men locking up, Lee then hits a hurricarana on Tony, followed by a dropkick, knocking Tony to the outside, Lee then takes out Stacks with a crossbody to the outside, Stacks then gets sent to the back as we go to commercial break.
*Commercial break*
– We are back from commercial as we see Tony hit a powerslam on Lee to secure a nearfall, Tony then appears to be injured, giving Wes Lee the victory.
Winner via stoppage: Wes Lee at 8:46.
Match 3: Amari Miller vs Sol Ruca
– The match starts off with Miller knocking down Ruca, Ruca then hits a headscissiors on Miller, Ruca then hits a dropkick on Miller to secure a nearfall, Ruca then hits a spinning legdrop on Miller to secure the pinfall victory.
Winner via pinfall: Sol Ruca at 3:48.
Match 4: Joe Gacy vs Cameron Grimes
– The match starts off with Grimes landing a series of kicks to the chest of Gacy, Grimes then hits a running cannonball off the apron onto Gacy, Gacy then hits a DDT in Grimes, Gacy then hits the rebound closeline on Grimes to secure the pinfall victory.
Winner via pinfall: Joe Gacy at 3:18.
Match 5: Nikkita Lyons vs Kayden Carter
– The match starts off with Lyons taking down Carter, Kayden then lands a kick to the face of Lyons to secure a nearfall, Lyons then hits a michinoku driver on Kayden to secure a nearfall, Lyons then hits a spinning kick to the face of Carter to secure the pinfall victory.
Winner via pinfall: Nikkita Lyons at 4:54.
Match 6: llja Dragunov vs Xyon Quinn
– The match starts off with Dragunov landing a hiptoss takeover on Quinn, Quinn then hits a backbreaker on Dragunov, Dragunov then hits a german suplex on Quinn, followed by a spinning forearm on a downed Quinn, Dragunov then hits a running uppercut on Quinn to secure the pinfall victory.
Winner via pinfall: llja Dragunov at 4:55.
Match 7: Brutus Creed vs Damon Kemp
– Before the match, Brutus and Kemp brawl on the apron.
– The match starts off with Brutus landing a gutwrench suplex on Kemp, Brutus then hits a pounce on Kemp, Kemp then beats down Brutus with a steel chair on the outside, causing the disqualification.
Winner via disqualification: Brutus Creed at 3:05.
– After the match, Kemp continues to hit Brutu’s back with a steel chair.
Match 8: Pub Rules match: Gallus vs Josh Briggs and Briggs Jensen
– The match starts off with all four men brawling, Briggs then throws a trashcan at the face of Coffey, Gallus and Jensen both set up tables, Brook and Jensen then attack Gallus with steel chairs as we go to commercial break.
*Commercial break*
– We are back from commercial as we see Wolfgang hit a powerslam on Briggs on the outside, Wolfgang then knees a chair into the face of Jensen, Gallus then whip Brooks and Jensen with their belts, Brooks and Jensen then beat down Gallus with their belts, Brooks and Jensen then break glass bottles over the head of Wolfgang and Coffey, Brooks and Jensen then throw Wolfgang through a table in the corner, Jensen then pins Coffey to secure the pinfall victory.
Winners via pinfall: Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen at 11:35.
– After the match, Gallus are arrested for punching a security guard and a referee.
