Shawn Spears vs. Joe Gacy was booked at this year’s WWE NXT Stand & Deliver premium live event from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:
Ridge Holland hit Gacy with a chair in the back before the bout started. Despite the attack, Gacy started off hot before being cut off by Spears. A few minutes passed with Spears in control before Gacy made a comeback. Spears caught him with a forearm shot when Gacy went for an outside dive. Gacy planted him for 2. Gacy missed a front senton off the top rope and Spears hit a pedigree for 2. Gacy with a clothesline for the win.
Winner: Joe Gacy
