WWE is bringing in at least one NXT star for Monday Night Raw next week.
Pwinsider.com reports Cameron Grimes is slated to be a the show. Although not confirmed, it’s expected that he will be there to work the WWE Main Event taping.
Over the last two weeks, WWE has brought in NXT stars to work the show. Last week, WWE brought in Josh Briggs, Brooks Jensen, and Fallon Henley.
Carmelo Hayes and Von Wagner appeared on this week’s episode as R-Truth shared the ring with Wagner while Hayes wrestled Cedric Alexander.
As previously reported, WWE plans to continue the trend of using main roster stars on NXT television as a way to boost NXT’s television ratings and help the younger stars in the ring. WWE also plans to have stars crossover to different brands.
