Pretty Deadly made their WWE live event debut on Saturday night when they wrestled NXT Tag Team Champions The New Day (Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston).
The SmackDown stars won the NXT Tag Team Championship at the NXT Deadline event on December 10 by dethroning Pretty Deadly. Since then, they’ve been exchanging words on television and will take part in a gauntlet match on Tuesday’s New Year’s Evil show.
WWE officials seem high on the NXT stars as they brought them on the road to work two main roster events this weekend. In addition to working Saturday’s show in Jackson, Mississippi, Pwinsider.com reports they’ve been booked for Sunday’s event in Huntsville, Alabama.

Kofi and Xavier Woods have been pulling double duty on NXT and SmackDown, as on Friday’s SmackDown, Kingston lost to Santos Escobar.
