WWE NXT Wrestler Made In-Ring Debut At House Show

WWE held an NXT live event on Friday night in Lakeland, FL, where one NXT wrestler made his in-ring debut. The house show featured Roxanne Perez defending the Women’s Title over Tatum Paxley and Oba Femi retaining the North American Title over Eddy Thorpe.

Brayden Ray made his in-ring debut at the show after announcing last month that he had signed with WWE. Before getting to WWE, he was a collegiate wrestler for Duke University and Cal State Bakersfield. He also appeared in the recent Roku docuseries ‘WWE: Next Gen.’

This past Tuesday night on NXT, Ray, by the ring name of Sexy BJ Ray as a cocky heel, was part of a backstage segment where Karmen Petrovic kicked him in the face after calling her a smokeshow.

At the house show, he teamed up with Javier Bernal in a losing effort to Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont in a tag team match. You can see some photos below:
