We might see a WWE Raw star pop up tonight on Friday Night SmackDown.
PWInsider reported today that Damian Priest was spotted backstage at the arena in Raleigh, NC. It’s not confirmed that he will be appearing on the show and it’s possible that he was brought in for the dark segment that takes place after the show. WWE has been teasing that Priest will be breaking away from The Judgment Day in the near future.
WWE doesn’t have much advertised for tonight’s show. The only match announced is Asuka defending the WWE Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair and Jey Uso “is on a warpath” after challenging WWE Undisputed Champion Roman Reigns last week.
A note on tonight’s attendance is that they have 11,413 tickets distributed, per WrestleTix. That is well above the 9,057 tickets distributed when they were there on 8/12/22 and it’s another indication that shows how hot the product is right now.
