WWE is coming to ABEMA in Japan after they had previously aired on J Sports in Japan.
Tokyo Sports first reported that WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown will air on ABEMA in Japan beginning on October 3. The plan is for Raw to air on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. while WWE SmackDown will air at 8 p.m. on Saturdays.
The shows will air free of charge in Japan. Also, WWE Premium Live Events will air on ABEMA.
Keiji Muto (Great Muta) also noted on Twitter that he will be an ambassador for a special broadcast that will air on Friday. He previously sat ringside for WWE Payback to watch Shinsuke Nakamura challenge Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
