Paul Heyman opened the show and said Sami Zayn is not here this evening. He said The Bloodline is under a two prong attack, Sami Zayn on SmackDown and Cody Rhodes on SmackDown. He said these titles are the center piece of the island of relevancy, no Bloodline, no Paul Heyman, and no Roman Reigns. Sami Zayn appeared behind Heyman. Zayn told Heyman that if he wanted to, he could drop him right now, but he won’t. He said if this was a month ago, The Bloodline would have come out here by now and dropped him. He said they are not out here because he knows that Reign’s days as the champion are numbered. Zayn asked Heyman if he thinks Jey Uso is going to side with his abusive cousin or his twin brother and what about when Solo starts thinking for himself. Zayn said Reigns has 8 days left until the Elimination Chamber. He told Heyman to tell Reigns he doesn’t have to worry about Cody because he is the one that’s going to take him down.
Hit Row (Top Dolla & Ashanti “Thee” Adonis (with B-Fab) vs Sheamus & Drew McIntyre
Sheamus hit White Noise on Adonis. McIntyre hit the Claymore Kick on Top Dolla. Sheamus hit the Brogue Kick on Adonis and pinned him. Top Dolla never officially tagged in the match. After the match, The Viking Raiders and Valhalla appeared on the video wall. They challenged Sheamus and McIntyre’s destiny is pain and suffering and challenged them to a match next week.
Backstage, Jimmy Uso was on the phone leaving a message for Jey to call him back.
Backstage, Karrion Kross told Scarlett said he is going to win the Fatal 4-Way match tonight and he is going to make Rey Mysterio suffer.
Backstage, Jimmy Uso tried to call Jey again.
Lacey Evans vs Carmen Harress
Evans defeated Harress with the Cobra Clutch
Backstage, Jimmy Uso told Paul Heyman that he can’t get a hold of Jey. He told Jimmy that he was being held hostage by Zayn earlier in the ring and nobody came out to help him. He asked Jimmy where he was. Jimmy said he has been trying to get a hold of Jey and Solo isn’t here. He told Heyman that he can defend the tag titles with him. Heyman said he is going to have to do this on his own. Jimmy told Heyman that Jey will be here tonight.
Backstage, Sonya Deville was arguing with Adam Pearce why she isn’t in the Elimination Chamber. Chelsea Green interrupted them and told Pearce she is looking for the manager to file a complaint against the RAW General Manager. Pearce told her he’s the same guy on both shows. She told him that she has facial amnesia and asked him if he is discriminating against her. Pearce told them that they are a lot alike and tonight they will team together against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.
WWE SmackDown Tag Team Title Match:
The Usos (c) vs Braun Strowman & Ricochet
Jey Uso came down the aisle at the last minute during the introduction of the match and hugged Jimmy. Ricochet hit the Swanton off Strowman’s shoulders on to Jimmy and got a two count, but Jey pulled Ricochet off of him. Strowman went for the running shoulder block outside the ring on Jey, but Jey ducked which sent Strowman flying over the announce desk. Ricochet then dove over the top rope on Jey. Ricochet went to the top rope but Jimmy met him there. Jey made the tag on Jimmy’s leg which Ricochet did not see. Ricochet threw Jimmy off the rope sending him to the mat and gave him a Shooting Star Press, but Jey came off the other turnbuckle with a splash on Ricochet and pinned him.
Backstage, Rey Mysterio said Karrion Kross is an evil human being and there is nothing that will prevent him from winning the Fatal 4-Way match tonight and go on to become the Intercontinental Champion.
Backstage, Jey told Jimmy that he has his back every single day since Day one and he can’t believe he doubted him. Jimmy told him it’s been hell since he’s been gone and if he’s in or if he’s out. Jey said he didn’t know and left. Heyman asked Jimmy if Jey said anything and Jimmy said no.
In the ring, Natalya said Shayna Baszler broke her nose, but she came back and took Baszler’s spot in the Elimination Chamber. She said Baszler is nothing but a cheap version of Ronda Rousey. Baszler came out and said she is tired of everybody dismissing her accomplishments. She said she was fighting before Ronda, she was fighting in rings like this before Ronda, and was signed to this company and winning titles before Ronda Rousey. Ronda Rousey came out. Rousey and Baszler had a staredown but then attacked Natalya. This brought out Shotzi and easily got disposed of. Ronda held Natalya’s arm while Baszler gave her a running kick to it.
Backstage, Sami Zayn welcomed back Jey Uso. Zayn thanked him for what he did for him at the Royal Rumble. He told Jey he knows he wants to see Reigns go down, and he will take him down, and Jey doesn’t have to go down with the ship. He told Jey that he doesn’t know if they will have a chance to talk again, but he acknowledges him and they fist bumped.
Backstage, LA Knight said he is not looking back on his Pitch Black match with Bray Wyatt
Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville vs Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan
Deville went to hit Morgan, but she ducked and she hit Green. Deville eventually tagged Green, but Green did not want to get in the ring. Rodriguez pulled her in the ring. Green went to lunge at Rodriguez, but Rodriguez moved out of the way sending Green into Deville. Rodriguez gave Green the Tehana Bomb. Morgan tagged in and Rodriquez powerbombed her on Green for the win.
Backstage, Madcap Moss said he is going to win tonight’s Fatal 4-Way match and Emma agreed.
Backstage, Michael Cole interviewed Charlotte Flair. Charlotte said three years ago, Charlotte defeated Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania and Ripley said looking back she was young and wasn’t ready. Charlotte said it’s three years later and she will put Ripley in her place.
Fatal 4-Way Match with the winner to face Intercontinental Champion Gunther at Elimination Chamber:
Rey Mysterio vs Madcap Moss (with Emma) vs Karrion Kross (with Scarlett) vs Santos Escobar (with Zelina Vega)
Mysterio hit the 6-1-9 on Kross. Scarlett grabbed Mysterio’s leg. Kross hit the Kross Hammer to the back of the head of Mysterio Escobar flew at Kross sending both to the outside of the ring. Moss hit an elbow drop off the top rope on to Mysterio and pinned him.
Backstage, Heyman talked to Jimmy and told him that Roman Reigns requested both him and Jey to stay at home for the show in Canada because sometimes you can see things on TV that you can’t see live. Jimmy looked confused as the show went off the air.
