The Bloodline came to the ring. Cody Rhodes then came in and told Roman Reigns that he’s not here to invade or engage in reckless negotiations. He is here to have a conversation with his WrestleMania opponent one on one and he doesn’t see any reason for his compatriots to be here unless he feels a need for them to be there. Reigns asked Paul Heyman & Solo Sikoa to leave. Cody congratulated Reigns on his long title reign. Cody said he has been told he can’t be more than Randy’s understudy. There’s no way he will survive Stardust. There’s no way 10,000 people would pay to see him and his buddies’ little Indie show. For everybody else, Reigns may be impossible, but not for him. Reigns said it sounded like has rehearsed that all week. He asked if he ever won one of these (pointing to his belts), or competed for one of them, or been in the main event of WrestleMania before? Reigns said he’s been groomed to do this by not only his father, but also Cody’s father. He said he has too much respect to degrade Dusty as he’s done too much for him. He’s the one who put the confidence in him. Reigns said Dusty never said anything about Cody. It was like he didn’t exist. Reigns said if there’s anything Dusty didn’t teach Cody, he will. Reigns stuck his hand out for Cody to shake his hand. Cody said if the fable is that one of Dusty’s kids is better than Dusty’s real kid, then that changes everything because if that’s true, then this becomes a necessity to beat him at WrestleMania. Cody shook Reign’s hand and said may the better man win.
Rhea Ripley (with Dominik Mysterio) vs Liv Morgan
Morgan hit a Codebreaker on Ripley followed by a step up Enziguri and a running knee. Morgan came off the top rope, but Ripley caught her with a Powerbomb. Ripley delivered the Riptide and clamped on the Cloverleaf for the submission victory. Winner: Rhea Ripley
Backstage, Jimmy Uso said he talked to Jey but he needs time. Reigns said he’s running out of patience, not with Jey, but with Jimmy. Jimmy said he will let him know.
Backstage, Santos Escobar told Dominik Mysterio that Rey should have punched him in the face last week, but he understands why he couldn’t, but he can. Adam Pearce agrees with him, so he’s going to teach him a lesson about respect. He’s going out to the ring and if Dominik is half the man he says he is, he will meet him hombre to hombre. He then blew a kiss to Ripley.
Santos Escobar vs Dominik Mysterio (with Rhea Ripley)
Escobar and Mysterio crisscrossed the ring and collided with each other. Dominik grabbed brass knuckles out of his boot. While the ref was distracted by this, Ripley pulled Escobar out of the ring and gave him a Riptide and threw him back in the ring. Dominik then gave Escobar a frog splash off the top rope for the win. Winner: Dominik Mysterio
After the match, Dominik took the mask that Rey had given Escobar and ripped it. Rey Mysterio came out and told Dominik to give him the mask. Dominik said only if he hits him. Rey did not hit him. Dominik threw the mask on the ground. When Rey went to pick it up, Dominik punched him.
They showed Sami Zayn earlier in the day in a crowd of people saying The Bloodline will go down.
In the ring, Drew McIntyre said he still doesn’t have a match for WrestleMania. He called out Gunther. Sheamus came out and said Drew is going behind his back because Sheamus knows how much that Intercontinental Title means to him and he was going to challenge Gunther. He called Drew a backstabbing bastard. Drew said Sheamus had his chance and he lost twice. LA Knight came out and said you can’t have a L.A. WrestleMania without LA Knight. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods came out. Woods said LA Knight can’t even win a match on SmackDown. Karrion Kross and Scarlett came out. A brawl erupted with Drew and Sheamus left in the ring. Drew did a dive over the top rope landing on Knight, Woods and Kingston. Kross jumped Sheamus and threw him shoulder first into the post to end the segment.
Earlier today, they showed Ronda Rousey and Natalya down on the ground while Shayna Baszler and Tegan Nox were brawling. They said Rousey suffered an arm injury and is unable to compete in tonight’s tag team match. As a result, this will be a singles match.
Shayna Baszler (with Ronda Rousey) vs Tegan Nox (with Natalya)
Nox caught Baszler in a roll up, but only got a two count. Baszler hit a knee strike Nox locked in the armbar for the submission win. Winner: Shayna Baszler
Backstage, Gunther said Adam Pearce has shown a lack of leadership by still not announcing an opponent for him at WrestleMania.
As Bobby Lashley made his way to the ring, the Bray Wyatt image flashed on the screen. Lashley said that for the last two weeks, Bray Wyatt has told him to run, but he doesn’t run from anybody. He said since Bray Wyatt won’t see him face to face, he came to SmackDown to confront him. The Uncle Howdy video appeared on the Titan Tron, Uncle Howdy attacked Lashley from behind. Howdy came off the ropes, but Lashley gave him a side slam. Lashley was getting ready to spear Howdy when the lights went out. When they came back on, only Lashley was in the ring.
Backstage, Jimmy Uso told Roman Reigns he got a hold of Jey and Jey needs more time. Reigns said Jey needs more time? Jimmy said, actually he said to leave him the hell alone. Reigns said he doesn’t understand how he could do this to him after everything we’ve done for him. Reigns said none of this started happening until Sami came along. He said he’s going to fix this problem once and for all. He wants Jimmy out there with Solo and he wants him to get rid of him. If he gets rid of Sami Zayn, then Jey will come home. He told Jimmy to do it for The Bloodline and do it for the family. Jimmy said okay and left. Reigns told Paul Heyman that if Jey is not back in The Bloodline in one week, he’s not going to blame Sami. He’s going to blame Jimmy.
Solo Sikoa (with Jimmy Uso) vs Sami Zayn
Zayn got the Blue Thunder Bomb on Sikoa. Zayn went for the Helluva kick, but Jimmy moved Sikoa out of the way. Sikoa hit Zayn with the Samoan Spike and pinned him. Winner: Solo Sikoa
After the match, Sikoa continued the attack, but Jimmy pushed him out of the way and started beating on Zayn. Jimmy told Sikoa to get the chair. Jimmy put the chair around Zayn’s neck. Sikoa was going to go for the running hip attack into Zayn, but Jimmy stopped him and told him he wanted to do it. Zayn stood up, took the chair off his neck, and threw it at Sikoa’s head. Jimmy went to leap at Zayn, but Zayn moved out of the way. Zayn hit the Helluva kick on Jimmy. Zayn was about to hit Jimmy with the chair when he saw Sikoa coming at him. Zayn threw the chair at Sikoa, but Sikoa swatted it. Zayn then left the ring and walked into the stands.
