Pat McAfee entered the ring to start the show and welcomed everybody to SmackDown. Austin Theory made his way to the ring and told McAfee he is going to drop him. Theory said this is the Austin Theory Show. McAfee said this is the people’s show and The Rock’s music hit. Theory said, do you know who you are in the ring with? The Rock said shut your b*tch ass up. Theory said finally the people get to see Rock and Austin in the ring one more time, but this time it’s not Stone Cold, it’s a real ass kicker. The Rock started to say, what the Rock says, when Theory said it doesn’t matter what The Rock says. The Rock said your from A-Town but you’re clearly an A-hole. The Rock got one half of the crowd to chant, You Are, and the other half of the crowd to chant, An A**hole. The Rock said he’s going to whip Theory’s ass in three seconds. He counted down from three, two, and Theory punched Austin in the head. The Rock gave Theory the spinebuster and The People’s Elbow. McAfee then delivered a People’s Elbow on Theory.
Finn Balor (w/ Damian Priest & Dominik Mysterio) vs AJ Styles
Styles dove over the top rope onto Balor. Styles threw Balor back in the ring. Dominik charged at Styles and was met with a clothesline. Priest held on to Styles’ leg as Styles tried to get back in the ring. The referee sent Priest and Balor back to the dressing room. Styles was setting Balor up for the Styles Clash when Jimmy Uso came up to the ring. Styles let go of Balor and punched Jimmy off the ring apron. Balor caught Styles in a crucifix package and pinned him.

Backstage, The Rock and Pat McAfee thanked each other for the segment earlier tonight. John Cena approached Rock. Rock told him I see you are trying to hide your smile and they hugged.
Backstage, Jimmy Uso told Finn Balor that he was just returning the favor from last week. Balor told Jimmy he saw his brother on Monday. He said I asked Jey if he wanted to join Judgment Day and he didn’t say no, so it got him thinking that they should both join The Judgment Day. Jimmy said no. Balor said the nice thing about The Judgment Day is there is no leader and walked away as Paul Heyman walked in.
In the ring, The LWO was in the ring. Rey Mysterio said last year I felt devastated and heartbroken, but then LWO reminded me who I am and what family really represents. Now he’s the United States Champion and has a family that is united and stronger than ever. Santos Escobar said our family are champions. When Austin Theory took me out and I couldn’t compete for this title, you stepped up. My career dream has been to face my idol, Rey Mysterio with the title on the line. Will you face me for the United States Championship? Rey accepted after they both said they have love and respect for each other. Bobby Lashley and The Street Profits came out. Lashley told The Street Profits this is what I’m talking about. We have tag teams falling apart and then we have tag teams having awkward love fests in the ring. We’re taking over and from the looks of it, it’s going to be easier than I ever imagined. Joaquin Wild and Cruz Del Toro challenged them to a fight
Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde (w/ Rey Mysterio, Santos Escobar & Zelina Vega) vs The Street Profits (Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins) (w/ Bobby Lashley)
They came back from the commercial break with the match in progress. Wilde kicked Dawkins. Ford and Dawkins hit Wild with the powerbomb/neckbreaker combination and pinned him. After the match, The Street Profits continued to beat down Del Toro and Wilde, but Mysterio and Escobar came in to break it up. Lashley hit Escobar from behind. As Rey was getting ready to go at it with Lashley, The Street Profits sucker-punched Rey. The Street Profits and Lashley then left the ring.

The Miz vs LA Knight
Miz hit a Codebreaker on Knight for a two-count. Miz charged at Knight and Knight dropped him neck first on the top rope. Knight hit the BFT on Miz and pinned him.

After the match, Knight said when I got to SmackDown, I said I’m here for gold. I see all the different options and it doesn’t matter if it’s Rey Mysterio, Gunther, Seth Rollins, or Roman Reigns. I’m in the top two, and I’m not number two.
Backstage, Solo told Paul Heyman he’s going to finish this tonight. Paul Heyman told Solo we need to concentrate on Jimmy Uso. He’s cutting deals with The Judgment Day and when that falls apart for the Bloodline, you’re going to have to fight that battle. Jimmy is picking fights with John Cena and you’re going to have to fight that battle. Jimmy thinks he’s in The Bloodline. We can only make moves like that when the Tribal Chief calls me and gives that order and then you handle that business. Solo said I know what I need to do and I’m going to finish this tonight.
Backstage, Adam Pearce told Pretty Deadly they are going to be back in the ring in no time. Elton Prince said I am a shell of what I once was. The memory of Rich Holland injuring my shoulder is fresh in my mind. Pearce asked Prince why he is in a wheelchair if he injured his shoulder. Kit Wilson told Elton with a perfect training regimen, we will be back better than ever.
Backstage, Bayley told Dakota Kai that I had everything planned out perfectly from the time we debuted until IYO SKY cashed in the Money in the Bank. IYO has never been in the ring with Asuka and I don’t know why she challenged her. I hope IYO is ready for Asuka. Kai told Bayley you have to be the one to show up Asuka tonight.
Asuka vs Bayley (w/ Dakota Kai)
Bayley and Asuka were fighting outside the ring. Shotzi showed up and scared Bayley back in the ring. Asuka caught Bayley in a backslide and pinned her. Shotzi chased Bayley back in the ring and then came back to the ring to fist-bump Asuka

The Grayson Waller Effect: John Cena
Waller told Cena he needs help and needs to be more like Grayson Waller. You got in the ring at Payback to be a special guest referee, but then you lied to the people because you don’t want to be an in-ring competitor anymore. There is no doubt you are the greatest of all-time, but you are nowhere close to being the greatest right now. You haven’t been the same since Austin Theory beat you. Jimmy Uso came out. Jimmy told Cena nobody came to see you. Everybody came to see me. If you are here to try to embarrass me like you did two weeks ago, go for it. If not, get the hell out of my ring. Solo Sikoa and Paul Heyman came to the ring. Solo had a staredown with Cena. Solo grabbed Jimmy by the throat and wound up to spike him, but then let him go and superkicked Cena. Jimmy went to shake Cena’s hand, but Solo went after Cena again. AJ Styles ran in and attacked Jimmy. Solo pulled AJ off him. Cena punched Solo and threw him over the top rope. Styles knocked Jimmy down and Cena gave him the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Cena went to give Jimmy the Attitude Adjustment, but Solo pulled Jimmy off Cena’s shoulders.
