The Maximum Male Models suffered another loss tonight on WWE Friday Night SmackDown but a gimmick change might be the answer to their problems.
Mace and Mansoor lost again this week to Hit Row and after the show, Maxxine Dupri talked to them and said that they can’t let this happen again. Max Durpi then stepped in and told them to lift their chins up. Then he said, “You have to go through the day to get to the night, yeah.”
That was a clear reference to his previous “LA Knight” gimmick that he portrayed while he was in NXT. The “Yeah” was part of his catchphrase when he was Eli Drake in TNA/Impact Wrestling.
It seems as if there might be a gimmick makeover coming for Max Dupri and perhaps, the entire Maximum Male Models stable or Max is going to remove himself from the group. Check out the backstage video below that was posted after SmackDown.
