During WWE Friday Night SmackDown, it was announced by Michael Cole that Erik from The Viking Raiders suffered a foot injury and he will be out indefinitely.
Cole said the injury happened during the Viking Rules match with The New Day. This would explain why Erik and Ivar were not part of the four-way main event on SmackDown and would also explain why their monster heel push was put on hold.
Tonight’s show was headlined by the four-way between Hit Row, Imperium, The Brawling Brutes, and The New Day. Ridge Holland won the match by pinning Kofi Kingston.
