CM Punk is a ticket mover, something that has become rare these days aside from John Cena and Roman Reigns, who have and continue to do the same thing.
CM Punk’s return
Punk returned to WWE at Survivor Series following the Men’s WarGames Match. WWE kept the return top secret, with only the main eventers knowing right before the match happened. He’s slated to feud with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in the near future.
The night after Survivor Series, Punk cut his first promo back on Raw, which was criticized for being too conservative compared to his AEW promos. He returned on Friday’s SmackDown, where he cut a more logical promo while putting over younger stars and making it clear he would reveal which brand he would sign with on Monday’s Raw.
WWE is currently advertising Becky Lynch vs. NIa Jax, Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley vs. Maxxine Dupri, Cody Rhodes vs. Shinsuke Nakamura and Drew McIntyre vs. Jey Uso for this Monday’s Raw. More matches and segments will be announced as the show gets closer.
Ticket sales
WrestleTix reports the show has sold 8,283, with 916 still available for a setup of 9,199. In the last six days, WWE has sold 1,511 tickets, which comes after WWE announced Punk would be on the show.
The last time they were at the building, WWE drew 10,495 in June for Raw.
