WWE Star Confirms Being Sidelined With an Injury

Injuries are going to happen in wrestling no matter the wrestling style of someone or where they worked. It’s part of the business that sees a demanding physical life be asked of someone when they sign up.

Liv Morgan has found this out before and is currently dealing with it again as she disappeared from WWE television in July.

WWE did an angle on Raw where Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley was scheduled to wrestle Morgan, but Ripley attacked Morgan before the bout started, leading to a beat-down angle to write Morgan off television.

They did the “Pillmanized” (chair on arm spot) Morgan’s arm, with Morgan stating she could not move her arm while selling the attack. The week before, Morgan was spotted leaving Raw in a sling after she had been checked on following a barricade spot.

While speaking with Muscle and Health for a new interview, Morgan was discussing her diet when she confirmed she is injured.

“I’m actually out injured right now and aside from healing up, my focus has been on my nutrition, so it’s been really exciting honing in on that. I want to come back in the very best shape of my life.”

She later added, “I wouldn’t necessarily call it the ‘dark side of the sport’ because injuries are something we all know are possible before we even step foot into the ring for the first time. I am super aware of the risks, but it’s just part of the business. When compared to all the amazing opportunities that come with being a WWE superstar, it really doesn’t feel that prevalent. I’ve had a long and healthy career for the last 9-years of my life. In fact, my first injuries didn’t occur until this year. It’s been unfortunate, but it’s the name of the game. Luckily, we have a world-class medical team on call to keep us healthy and in tip-top condition.

We wish her a speedy recovery.
