WWE is looking to bring back one star from hiatus this weekend, which has the spotlight of NXT Deadline, with the premium live event taking place on Saturday night.

WWE NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov vs. Baron Corbin will be the headliner. At the same event, the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge features Dijak vs. Trick Williams vs. Josh Briggs vs. Bron Breakker vs. Tyler Bate. At the same time, the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge has Tiffany Stratton vs. Lash Legend vs. Blair Davenport vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Fallon Henley.
NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio vs. Dragon Lee, Roxanne Perez vs. Kiana James in a cage, and Carmelo Hayes vs. Lexis King is also on the card.
The return
In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that “Cora Jade is scheduled to return imminently, expected to be this weekend.” It should be noted that Pwinsider had also heard the same thing earlier this week.
Jade’s last match was on July 25, as she stepped into the ring for a Kendo Stick match against Dana Brooke. Following the loss, Jade said she was leaving NXT.
