WWE has confirmed the rumors about another star getting his full name back.
Theory was introduced as Austin Theory for his match on the Kickoff show. Theory teamed with Alpha Academy against Madcap Moss and The Street Profits.
It was Vince McMahon’s decision to remove his first name and Theory said in a recent interview that he was fine with having just the last name because the “Austin” part was something that was added for him.
The news of the name change broke last weekend when Theory was listed as Austin Theory on upcoming live event line-ups. Another WWE star who got his name back this past week was Matt Riddle.
For those of you wondering, The Street Profits and Moss won the match when Montez Ford pinned Chad Gable.
