Talent can be pulled from WWE’s active roster for various reasons, whether that be due to injury, taking time off, or other reasons.
The star
Raquel Rodriguez finds herself in this situation. In January, Rodriguez announced that she’d been diagnosed with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS), causing her to miss time from WWE TV. She returned in February but nearly missed the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE event from Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia because it was flaring up.
People who have MCAS have allergic symptoms such as hives, swelling, low blood pressure, difficulty breathing, and severe diarrhea. Fortunately, she was able to work the Women’s Elimination Chamber Match, which was won by Becky Lynch.
Stats
Pwinsider reported today that Rodriguez has been pulled from the active WWE roster. It was added that she is currently listed internally with other talents who are out of action.
It’s unclear as of this writing whether she’s out with an injury or if her MCAS is flaring up again. Either way, we hope to see her back in the ring soon and send her best wishes.
