There was an injury last night during WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
Elton Prince from Pretty Deadly appeared to have suffered a shoulder injury during the match between Pretty Deadly and The Brawling Brutes (Sheamus and Ridge Holland). Prince was favoring his shoulder during the match and was seen wearing a brace backstage during the SmackDown LowDown.
Ridge Holland said on Twitter that the injury did not occur on the belly-to-belly spot and it was from a “wonky landing” from the pounce. Ridge set the record straight on what happened after some fans on social media put the blame on him and compared the injury to when Big E was injured on an overhead belly-to-belly suplex.
Holland tweeted, “So to set people straight before they get all pissy! It wasn’t the belly to belly…..it was a wonky landing from the pounce. Out of my control. Wishing @EltonPrince_PD a speedy recovery.”

Ridge is correct. You shouldn't go blaming him.. Making assumptions.. While I don't enjoy pointing out how someone got really injured all you need to know is in this video.. It was an over rotation on Eltons part. These things happen. Speedy recovery to Elton Prince 🙏🏻 pic.twitter.com/e5V9UMQpBn
