Not everyone on the WWE roster can be used on television every week. This is an underlying issue the company faces across Raw, NXT, and SmackDown.
Absent
Several stars have been on the sidelines. This can be due to injury or a lack of creativite. Omos has found this out first-hand. Omos has not been used on WWE TV since the Royal Rumble, where he worked in the Men’s Royal Rumble Match.
Before then, Omos had not been used on WWE TV since SummerSlam when he returned after a hiatus following WrestleMania.
Stat
In December, it was reported that WWE sources feel like Omos can be used in the attraction role, although no creative pitches have been made. He wrestles semi-regularly on live events.
At Saturday’s WWE house show, Omos scored his 25th straight win over Akira Tozawa dating back to last July. Omos is 15-1 thus far in 2024 after holding a 33-4 record the previous year.
Omos is now 25-0 against Tozawa.
