Although WWE has started to tease the return of one star, fans may have to wait a while to see him back on television.
During Monday’s episode of Raw, a vignette aired of Sheamus, hyping his return to television. It showed highlights of his career and accomplishments. It wasn’t said when he would be returning.
He most notably feuded with Drew McIntyre and GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Title at WrestleMania 39 last year. Sheamus has been sidelined with a shoulder injury as his last match happened in a loss to Edge on the August 18th episode of SmackDown.

Before being taken off television, he had been an upper mid-carder in recent years while being paired with Butch and Ridge Holland. Those stars have been separated as Butch went back to the Pete Dune name and is teaming with Tyler Bate while Holland is in NXT.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that they were told “it’s possible that Sheamus may not return until the week of the draft or won’t have a defined brand until then.”
