WWE aired a new episode of NXT Level Up on Peacock on Friday night after taping it on Tuesday night before NXT from Orlando, FL.
On this episode, which serves as a proving ground for younger wrestlers in the developmental brand, one star scored his first-ever singles match of his career.
That star is Tavion Heights, who has been working since last November after signing with the company. He beat Ikemen Jiro on NXT Level Up.
This also marked his first win overall since February, when he teamed with Damon Kemp against Myles Borne and Tank Ledger.
Heights, real name G’angelo Hancock, has worked 27 matches thus far in his career. Before signing with WWE in August 2022, he was a Greco-Roman wrestler. During his career, he won countless tournaments and represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
. @IkemenJiro_wwe VS @TavionHeights was great. This was Heights' 1st 1-on-1 win in his Career & 1st win overall since he & @damonkempwwe defeated @mylesborne_wwe & @TankLedgerWWE on @NXTLevelUp on 2/24. #NXTLevelUp #DBWL
