Shinsuke Nakamura will make his long-awaited return to WWE television tonight on SmackDown.
The former Intercontinental Champion has been off TV for months, as his last TV match was in November when he lost to Santos Escobar on SmackDown. His last match was a six-man tag at a live event in January.
Nakamura has rarely been used under Triple H’s creative vision in WWE after taking over last summer. Perhaps that will change now.
The interesting thing was that he just disappeared, as WWE never gave an explanation for his absence, and no angle was done to write him off television.

WWE has also started announcing some things for tonight’s show, including Damian Priest vs. Santos Escobar and Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan having a Women’s Tag Team Championship celebration. They won the titles on Monday’s Raw when they defeated Trish Stratus & Becky Lynch.
Previously confirmed for the show is LA Knight vs. Xavier Woods.
