WWE star says she is not leaving the company after WrestleMania

Nikki Cross has made it clear that she has no plans to take time off from WWE.

After portraying her crazy character in NXT and on the main roster, she made a big change to her gimmick in June 2021 when she debuted a new character, Nikki ASH, with superhero-like gear. The “ASH” stood for ‘Almost A Superhero.

The character became more comical than her previous gimmick. She found a lot of success with the character, notably winning the 2021 Money in the Bank match and the Raw Women’s Title. However, she went back to her old character where she has continued to be used on Raw.

Cross was last seen in action on television was when she lost to Piper Niven on the March 6th edition of Raw.

Cross responded to a fan with a post where the person claimed, “Nikki Cross will be leaving WWE for a long time after Wrestlemania to pursue a PHD!”

Cross responded to the fan with, “Hello. I hope you are well. this is not true. This is the first time I have ever heard about this. Pretty sure I’m a reliable source. If I choose to pursue a PHD after my completing my masters in May, I wouldn’t take time off wrestling. I would do both. Just to clarify.”
