WWE star seemingly confirms his in-ring retirement

Kane, real name Glenn Jacobs, has done it all in his WWE career, from legendary feuds to multiple championship wins. The WWE platform eventually led to him becoming the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.

With his primary focus on his political career, Kane has made fewer appearances on WWE television in recent years with his last match was at the the2021 Royal Rumble event, while his last proper match was in Saudi Arabia at the 2018 Crown Jewel event, where he teamed with Undertaker against Shawn Michaels and Triple H.

While appearing on The Right View with Lara Trump, Kane stated that as a 55-year-old, he is okay with not taking a bump again, indicating that he’s done as an active in-ring performer.

“Yeah, I actually don’t do that much anymore,” he said. “I don’t want to get into a wrestling ring and actually get knocked down because I don’t know if I could get back up at this point. But yes, I still do things occasionally.”

Kane brought up his SummerSlam appearance, where he announced the attendance for the show in Nashville at Nissan Stadium.

Kane, who was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame last year, recently secured his second term as mayor.
