It looks like a former WWE NXT star could be headed to the brand as Cedric Alexander has shown interest in competing on Tuesday’s show for Wes Lee’s NXT North American Championship.
Lee is slated to host an open challenge for his title on the episode. Although most expect a regular NXT star to be answering the challenge, Alexander might make a surprise appearance and challenge for the North American Title for the first time.
Lee never had a run in NXT as he worked the Cruiserweight Classic tournament in 2016 before going to the main roster as part of the division and working on 205 Live.
In a post on Twitter, Alexander indicated that he is interested in wrestling on the show, by saying he is free on Tuesday nights:

This episode will feature the fallout from last week’s NXT Roadblock show. The only other thing confirmed for the show is Johnny Gargano speaking to the NXT universe after making his return to NT last week to set up his NXT Stand & Deliver match against Grayson Waller.
