Last week it was reported that there are people in WWE NXT who have complained about the style of training at the WWE PC. There were several injuries on last week’s episode of WWE Spring Breakin’.
Those injured were NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell, Grayson Waller, and Sol Ruca.
On the show, there was a segment where Dani Palmer and Ruca were saying their goodbyes. As Ruca walked off, a mystery figure pulled her out of the front door and attacked her, leading to Palmer running out before someone told her to get some help. It was later reported that she had suffered a torn ACL, and this segment was done to write her off television.
Ruca made her in-ring debut in the summer of 2022, where she has since worked 40 matches and impressed WWE officials after a strong run on the developmental brand. Ruca was last in action at an NXT house show last month.
On Tuesday, Ruca took to her Instagram to note that her surgery is happening today. She wrote the following caption:
“Who needs an acl anyways… jk I do, surgery day baby let’s go.”
