Angelo Dawkins of The Street Profits made an appearance on Highly Dish Functional to discuss a wide range of topics.
During it, he expressed interest in recreating the famous grocery store brawl with Booker T and Steve Austin from a 2001 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Dawkins also talked about what would happen if WWE broke up The Street Profits. Here are the highlights.
On WWE potentially breaking up The Street Profits:
“I mean, if they did, we still brothers in the end. You know, Tez is my boy. We’ve been cool ever since he started. I started a little bit before him in NXT. So like, we been cool ever since he stepped foot at NXT. So like we always got each other’s back and no matter whether we’re out there in the singles match or as a tag, you know what I’m saying? If we split up, we gonna have each other’s back no matter what.”
On his memorable wrestling moments while growing up:
“Man, everybody has a lot of crazy cool matches. For me, I have one match and the other ones are really funny things that have happened. For instance, Booker T vs. Stone Cold in a grocery store. That will forever be my favorite thing ever. I’m trying my hardest. If there’s one thing on the bucket list that I’m trying to do, I’m trying to fight in a grocery store. I’m trying to throw hands in a grocery store. I’m trying to smack somebody with a jug of milk. Smack somebody in the face with an onion and make them cry. “
He also named APA and The Dudley Boyz fighting in a bar as a memorable moment and wants to do something like that. You can watch the entire interview by clicking on the player below:
