Bronson Reed has been steadily pushed on WWE television since returning to the company last December when he laid out Dexter Lumis in Lumis’ ladder match against The Miz on Raw. Reed helped Miz retrieve the bags of cash suspended above the ring. The pairing didn’t last long.
During this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, WWE booked Reed in a match against Bobby Lashley. The short but hard-hitting bout came to an end when they spilled out to the floor and were counted out. Post-match, they continued to brawl with each other until officials separated them.
Some fans may have noticed that Reed seemed a little off in the match, and there is a good reason why, as Reed took to Twitter after the bout to reveal that he wrestled while battling the flu. He wrote:
“Story ain’t over. Been sick all week with the flu, uncle Bobby still hasn’t felt me at my full force. Stay tuned.”
We wish Reed a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him clash again with Lashley in the near future.
Story ain't over.
Been sick all week with the flu, uncle Bobby still hasn't felt me at my full force.
Stay tuned.#WWERaw
