LA Knight, Sheamus, Matt Riddle, Otis, Chad Gable, Ludwig Kaiser, Tommaso Ciampa, The Miz, Butch, Shinsuke Nakamura, Ridge Holland, AJ Styles, Bronson Reed, Omos, Karrion Kross, Grayson Waller, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Ivar, Erik, Apollo Crews vs. Cameron Grimes, JD McDonagh, Boogs, and others were part of the Battle Royal at the WWE SummerSlam premium live event from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.
Omos eliminated Crews right off the bat then JD. Theory tossed out Grimes while Escobar eliminated Theory. Kross eliminated Escobar with a big boot. Reed eliminated Gable. The last four were Knight, Styles, Sheamus, and Reed. Knight pulled reed over the top rope for the elimination. Kross distracted AJ, allowing Sheamus to hit him with the brogue kick. Knight and Shemaus were the last two. Knight with a belly-to-belly from the top rope. Knight sent Sheamus over the top rope for the win.
