Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes at the WWE WrestleMania XL premium live event from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Brandi Rhodes made a cameo for Cody’s entrance. After a strong start by Cody, Reigns got a kendo stick and started attacking him. They brawled into the crowd. Cody with a suplex on a platform. Back in the ring, Cody went for a spring board kick, but Reigns caught him with a powerbomb. As Reigns beat him down, he talked trash. Rhodes turned the tables with a superkick three times. Rhodes with a disaster kick for 2. Rhodes went for cross rhodes and Reigns hit it instead for 2. Rhodes avoided the superman punch and landed a series of strikes. They brawled to the floor and Reigns hit a low blow. Reigns with a powerbomb through the announce table then the superman punch for a near fall. Rhodes with the Cody cutter for 2. Rhodes with a spear for 2. The fans started to hang on every pin attempt. Rhodes with a cross rhodes, but Jimmy Uso ran out to superkick Rhodes. Jey Uso ran out to take on his brother. Jey speared Jimmy off the stage through a table. Reigns with a spear to Cody for 2. On the floor, Rhodes speared Reigns through the barricade. Solo Sikoa came out to attack Cody after he had hit cross Rhodes. John Cena came out to take on Sikoa and hit an AA to Reigns through the announce table. The Rock came out and laid him out with the rock bottom. Seth Rollins came out in Shield gear, but Reigns took him out with the spear. This led to The Undertaker coming out and hitting Rock with a chokeslam. Cody with several cross Rhodes for the win.
Winner: Cody Rhodes
Several wrestlers came out to celebrate with Cody after the match. Cody asked Bruce Prichard and Triple H to come out to the ring to celebrate.
