WWE’s Liv Morgan comments on the viral video of her at New York Knicks game

On Tuesday night, WWE’s Liv Morgan went viral while attending the NBA game between the NY Knicks and the Charlotte Hornets at Madison Square Garden in New York City to promote Sunday’s house show at the arena.

A fan account tweeted a clip of Morgan sitting next to WWE Senior Vice President of Live Events Justin Scalise, who was telling her something and she seemingly wasn’t paying attention to him.

It turned into a meme on the social media platform. While appearing on today’s The Bump, Morgan commented on it:

“I have so many thoughts. I have so many things I want to say…What a bizarre moment. It’s so weird to me what goes viral and what doesn’t. I mean, first of all, I want to say we had no idea that we were even being filmed. We had no idea that the camera was on us, which doesn’t excuse anything, but that is Justin Scalise, who works here for WWE. He’s incredible. He was explaining something to me, and I was watching the game, and I was listening, but I was also kind of deep in my head, thinking my own thoughts. I was, like…in my own world, so unaware that this was being filmed. My phone was blowing up, and I saw this message, and I was like, ‘Oh my god Justin. I’m so sorry,’ and he’s been such a good sport about it. It was just the most bizarre, weirdest thing. I don’t know….Let’s say I was ignoring him. It is Women’s History Month.”
