WWE’s plans for the next NXT premium live event

WWE started bringing back NXT specials this year as the company has already held three of them, and another is currently being planned.

Fightful Select reports that NXT talent has been informed that December 10th is internally slated for an NXT special rumored to be associated with the Deadline trademark that was filed. The official name is not confirmed, but several wrestlers and staff have been made aware to keep that date open.

This is the same day as the ROH Final Battle pay-per-view event, but that show is slated to air in the afternoon, while NXT will air at night.

The plan is to hold the event at the WWE Performance Center, and it’s expected to be announced by this Saturday.

WWE previously held Stand and Deliver at the beginning of April on WrestleMania weekend and In Your House in June. This Saturday, WWE will present its Halloween Havoc special, headlined by NXT Champion Bron Breakker vs. Ilja Dragunov vs. JD McDonagh.
