Seth Rollins announced tonight during WWE Monday Night Raw that he has indeed been dealing with severe spinal issues. Earlier in the night, Shinsuke Nakamura revealed that this is what he whispered to Rollins last week. What Nakamura said last week was a surprise because Rollins had been hiding the injury and didn’t know that Nakamura knew about it.
Rollins added that he has two fractures in his lumbar spine and it’s something he’s been dealing with for 4 years and it’s getting worse. Rollins also said that he doesn’t know how long he can keep going at this level.
Rollins’ comments play into the upcoming match at Payback with Nakamura but there have been reports over the last couple of years about Rollins being banged up so what he said tonight still rings true. Nakamura will challenge Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship in two weeks at Payback in Pittsburgh.
Seth Rollins confirms that he has two fractures in his lumbar spine and has been living with that for over 4 years and it doesn't get better by itself. It's gotten worse. He doesn't know how much longer he can do this at this level. #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/Uy0HzoImJA
