We are sad to report that WWE Hall Of Famer and 8-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion Harley Race has passed away at the age of 76.
Race had been hospitalized for the last couple of weeks. The news of his passing broke via the All Elite Wrestling Twitter account.
Race had been dealing with several health issues over the last several years and his reps noted back in March that he was battling lung cancer.
Obviously, this is a huge loss for the wrestling business because Race is one of the all-time greats and one of the most influential wrestlers in the history of the business. He is also considered one of the toughest wrestlers to ever step foot in a wrestling ring.
