A feud appears to be brewing between WWE’s two Horsewomen factions

The MMA Horsewomen vs. WWE Horsewomen feud is heating up on Twitter. Becky Lynch, who has been doing great work on her Twitter account in recent months, has been trading shots with Ronda Rousey, Marina Shafir, Jessamyn Duke and NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler.

Charlotte Flair has also jumped in with some words directed at Baszler, Duke, and Shafir and she also name-dropped Tessa Blanchard, the daughter of WWE Hall Of Famer Tully Blanchard. Tessa, as many of you know, is signed with Impact Wrestling.

It’s unclear if these women are just stirring things up on their own to generate more buzz for a potential match of if these Twitter posts are something WWE management asked them to do. Usually, WWE Twitter feuds are done to set up future matches.

At one point, there was a plan to do a MMA Horsewomen vs. WWE Horsewomen match at last year’s Survivor Series. There was talk of doing that match at this year’s show and there were teases on WWE’s social media in August but plans changed again.
