WWE has announced that The Undertaker and Roman Reigns will team up at Extreme Rules and they will take on Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre. The match was set up on Monday Night Raw when Taker appeared in the ring as Reigns was taking a beating from McMahon and McIntyre in a 2 vs. 1 handicap match.
Taker’s last appearance on WWE TV was at the Super ShowDown event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia just a couple of weeks ago in a match against Bill Goldberg. Taker signed a new deal earlier this year and it looks like the deal includes more than one appearance per year on WWE TV.
Also announced for Extreme Rules, Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans will take on Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. The stipulation for that match is that Corbin and Evans will not get another opportunity if they lose and Rollins and Lynch’s titles will be on the line.
WWE Extreme Rules will take place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA on July 14.
