A man lost everything, including his home, after being duped by a fake Liv Morgan account

WWE Raw star Liv Morgan took to Twitter today to remind fans that there are fake accounts that scam people by pretending to be wrestlers on social media.

The latest example of this, as told by Morgan, is from a man who sold his home and lost everything because he thought he was helping her.

Here are Morgan’s tweets:

“Guys I’ve been sent so many emails of horror stories about people making fake accounts and emails pretending to be me & asking for huge amounts of money. This really makes me so sad. Please don’t use my name to con people out of their hard earned money. Please please please”

“A man sold his home and lost everything thinking he was helping ‘me’. This has me so sick. Please know I would never reach out to ask any of you for a single penny. I’m so sad. Please stop”

This applies to anyone who is a fan of a celebrity/athlete, always look for the verified checkmark and if someone you don’t know personally is soliciting money from you, the best thing to do is to block them.
