There is one very interesting name rumored for the women’s WWE Royal Rumble match.
It looks like Victoria (Lisa Varon) could make her return on tonight’s pay-per-view. Reddit user Cutemerock is in Houston and staying at a hotel across from Minute Maid Park. His view lets him see the tests being done on the big screen and Victoria’s name was flashed on the screen.
Victoria’s name is interesting because she was one of the most respected women on the roster but she hasn’t been brought back to do anything with the company in over a decade. The last time she was seen on WWE television was in 2009. There was talk of bringing her in as a trainer at NXT several years ago but nothing came out of those talks.
Victoria was one of the best workers on the female WWE roster in the 2000s and one of the most well-liked people in the business so it would not shock me if she gets considered for the WWE Hall Of Fame after her Rumble appearance.
According to the Reddit user, he was able to see the following names during the testing on the big screen:
- Dakota Kai
- Kelly Kelly
- Bianca Belair
- Toni Storm
- Tegan Nox
- Beth Phoenix
- Victoria
- Chelsea Green
That would line up with reports from earlier about NXT wrestlers being involved in the Rumble.
