A WWE title is getting its first redesign since 2003

It looks like a new title belt design is on it’s way to WWE television.

WWE recently redesigned the Intercontinental Championship and a slight change was made to Bray Wyatt’s Universal Championship to match the blue colors of the SmackDown brand and now it looks like a change is coming for the United States Championship.

Belt maker/insider @BeltFanDan is reporting that the new United States Champion “was delivered” but he has no idea what it looks like. That sounds like WWE has the belt in their possession and if that is the case, then it could debut very soon, perhaps as soon as tonight’s Monday Night Raw.

Rey Mysterio currently holds the United States Championship. There have been a few minor tweaks made to the belt over the years and John Cena had his own design for merchandising purposes but this would be the first major redesign since the belt was introduced on WWE television in 2003.
