AAA Guerra De Titanes 2025 Booking Handled By Jeremy Borash And Legendary WWE Star

A new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has shed light on the creative process behind the critically acclaimed AAA Guerra de Titanes event. According to Dave Meltzer, the booking for the show was managed by WWE’s Jeremy Borash and The Undertaker, who collaborated closely with AAA leadership to ensure the event honored Mexican wrestling traditions.

A Collaborative Effort

Meltzer reports that Borash and The Undertaker worked directly with Konnan and Dorian Roldan to craft the show. The goal was to filter their ideas through AAA’s established history and the broader culture of Mexican professional wrestling to ensure the product felt authentic.

“The booking of the show was handled by Jeremy Borash and Undertaker. They worked with Konnan and Dorian Roldan and went through them to make sure the ideas worked based on AAA history and Mexican pro wrestling culture,” Meltzer wrote.

High Praise From WWE Personnel

The report also highlights the overwhelmingly positive reception the event received internally within WWE. Several people noted that, strictly from an in-ring and atmosphere perspective, Guerra de Titanes was arguably the company’s best production of the year.

“I had multiple people from WWE note to me they thought as a pure show, just crowd and matches and forgetting about special effects, that this was one of the best or even the best WWE show this year,” Meltzer stated.

Better Than The Competition?

Meltzer offered his own high praise for the event, comparing it favorably to the competition at Arena Mexico.

“To me, it was better than most Friday nights at Arena Mexico because while Arena Mexico has had a few main events better, this was hot from the opener to the main event and had great wrestling up and down the show,” Meltzer concluded.

The event, which took place on December 20, 2025, in Guadalajara, was the first Guerra de Titanes held under WWE’s ownership of AAA. The show featured a main event tag team match where Rey Mysterio and Rey Fénix defeated Los Gringos Locos 2.0 (Dominik Mysterio and El Grande Americano).
