Abdullah The Butcher has been hospitalized as a result of serious health issues. The hardcore wrestler earned the reputation of being one of the most violent wrestlers in the history of the business due to his bloody matches.
His look was also unique as a big man with deep scars on his forehead after years of blading. After working for promotions such as WWC, Stampede, Georgia Championship Wrestling, and All Japan Pro Wrestling, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.
Abdullah was reportedly hospitalized over the weekend. At the time, it was said he was suffering from a bleeding ulcer and needed hip replacement surgery. It was also noted that he was on the verge of losing his home.
A GoFundMe account has been launched to assist him with the current target of $20,000. As of this writing, the account has raised just over $1,500. In recent years, he has faced financial hardship, including losing his restaurant.
